Additionally, I think this is a great story to read in a church and a family gathering. I can't begin to say how much I uae girls loved this book. I've loved these kinds of stories for many years. I have a book in my collection with the same name, but it was a different one. So, I'm very proud to be giving this book the same high grade I gave the other one. The book is titled "My First Ramadan: The Story of a Teenager's Journey Through Islam". It's about the day my brother and I went to our first Ramadan. It's a great, funny, and informative book. The only drawback, I must say, is that it's a bit short. It would have been perfect to have a book that could serve for a few years, but I'm happy to wait. The muslims marriage book does go into some detail about the different sects of Islam (which is pretty much what I had heard about), the beliefs about when you can and should fast, as well as the various reasons people fast. This is not your usual, just-for-fun, light reading. A great read for anyone who is interested in learning more about the religion, but doesn't have the time to read an encyclopedia, or really has any interest in religion at all.
What I Liked About It: This book is an excellent example sweedish men of "How To Do It" style of writing. I'm a believer, but I still find the book a valuable read. The author was also gracious enough to provide an interesting, non-exhaustive list of some of the more obscure places and events.
