My name is Ali and I'm 26 years old. I am a Canadian citizen and from Toronto. I am married to a Canadian and I am Muslim. My fiancee is a Muslim and she is also Canadian. We are not close but we are close. We have been dating for two years and I am now living in a Muslim country with a Muslim man. I have been a Canadian since birth. In fact I was born in the USA and I am an American citizen. I moved to Canada a few years ago after living and working in New York for over 20 years. I am still in high school, my parents still love me, my family still loves me, and I still love the country of Canada. My family is Canadian, but I am a Muslim Canadian. It is because I grew up here dating sites in sacramento and have a strong relationship with the country and the people I live with and love. I am a student, a writer, an artist, and I am married to a Canadian, so it is safe to say I am not a "real Canadian" In fact my family and community don't even really talk about that. They know who I am and what I am, but they also have a strong sense of belonging to me, which I feel they feel towards me and other muslims, in a way. It is because they feel a connection to the people that I know and care about. When people look at me, they feel that they know me, but they don't know me. It is this that makes them so grateful when they meet me for the first time. I have to be able to give people this feeling in my life. This isn't to say that my family and community doesn't speak about the challenges of being a muslim, it has a presence on many levels, but I feel that their concern is not about me, but about their identity as a muslim. When you are not known or seen as a muslim, you need someone to be like, a role model. This is why I say that a person is either known or unknown to someone.

When I am speaking out in a public forum, I am not speaking on behalf of myself. I don't speak to you as a person. I have the utmost respect and admiration for your beliefs, however nation of islam charlotte nc it is your personal choice to not share your beliefs in this particular forum. I don't have time to answer you every single question in hopes that you will change your mind, I am more interested in the answers that I am able to find, I want to help educate people about their beliefs and the way they view the world. I am willing to answer questions and discuss my beliefs, however I cannot answer if you don't like my answers or how I can be helpful in your life, for example if I believe that all muslims should be killed, and you don't want to kill yourself for your beliefs, I am going to have to shut down this discussion and do something else. This isn't something that I am trying to get any traction for, I am here to educate. As an atheist, I can not help you change your mind, you have the choice, I'm just trying to educate, and hopefully the more people that are enlightened by what I have to say, the more people will be able to share their beliefs in a asalamalakum response non-hateful and peaceful way, I just hope that no one comes off as an extremist. If you are a muslim, you have an amazing life, no matter what you believe, this is the life that you are going to live, and I want to live it with you. I have never once been afraid of being judged for my beliefs. I was raised to believe that I am going to have the chance to go to heaven if I do good things in this life.
